Great location, nutty and full-bodied coffee, and a generous, satisfying brunch. Everything we tried was delicious. We had the piccolo, loaded croissant, salmon & avocado eggs benedict, and the Mediterranean omelet. Thank you!

Brunch n Brew Café – Lakeside Plaza Conveniently located if you’re ducking into Coles or simply escaping the rain, Brunch n Brew sits squarely in the “easy option” category. Renovated about a year ago, it now has a more open-plan layout. I’m still undecided on whether that change works for me, it feels more food-court than coffee refuge. I’ll likely visit from time to time with my elderly parents while they shop, and in that context it serves its purpose well. When options are limited, it’s perfectly acceptable. For my personal taste, however, the coffee leans too strong, though I’m sure that will appeal to others. It was presented well though, I always appreciate that. Today was just a quick coffee stop, and I did appreciate the staff kindly making it in a proper mug, despite there being only 15 minutes left before closing when I was about to walk away. I’m not a fan of paper cups unless I’m truly on the run, I want to taste the coffee, not the paper. For convenience, it earns a solid ⭐⭐⭐⭐, and service also rates a ⭐⭐⭐⭐ for accommodating the mug request. That said, a smile in response to my three thank-yous would have gone a long way.

Had a family brunch first time we visited we were all extremely impressed with the food and the service. The presentation was first class and the tastes wow. Talk about a hidden gem. If you’re visiting The Entrance make sure you stop and have a bite.

During our journey to Newcastle, we decided to take a brief respite at Long Jetty. As it was still early in the morning, we sought a quick breakfast establishment. Utilizing Google, we discovered one of the nearby suggestions, which was situated within a shopping mall. While the establishment may not be particularly spacious, the quality of the food was satisfactory. However, the coffee could be improved, and the service was adequate. Although the prices may be slightly higher than expected in terms of portion size, the overall taste of the food was commendable.

I recently visited Brunch N Brew, and I am impressed! The atmosphere is so welcoming, and the staff are friendly and attentive. The food was cooked to perfection with fresh ingredients. It’s a great spot for a relaxed, tasty brunch, and I really appreciate the variety of options on the menu. Highly recommend this cafe if you’re in the area!
