Blick Oval is a well-regarded dog-friendly park in Canterbury where dogs are welcome on lead. You'll find shaded areas and toilets nearby, while Outfield Cafe is around 750 metres away for an easy post-walk coffee.
Dogs are welcome on-leash at Blick Oval, a Canterbury-Bankstown Council park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be kept on a lead and under the effective control of a competent person, and are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play equipment and food preparation areas. Off-leash exercise is permitted only in Council's designated off-leash areas.
It is amazing, the things you find when you slow down and explore the neighbourhood. This is a great Sports field with classic olde facilities. The bathrooms look a bit rundown, but functional. I imaging some classic encounters taking place here.
What a cricketing facility...Look out for the longserving groundsman "Dirty Jim" who is able to roll a brilliant cricket pitch but don't leave your kids alone wirh him when using the restroom
Good cricket grounds with good amenities Many shady areas to sit under Well maintained and clean
Splendid grass cover but the oval is only available for bookings and club sport
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
