Bligh & Barney Reserve is a park in The Rocks where dog access has not yet been confirmed — it's worth checking before you visit.
I mean, you probably pass by this area without knowing it's a reserve anyways. That's how obscure this area actually is. There's a statue of a man, in the middle of some grass, opposite more exciting things like the plaza and the cruise ships. You'd probably not be as excited about this reserve in any case. That said, it makes for a great meeting landmark, unless it's raining because this area is unsheltered.
An interesting little park/reserve with the statue of Captain William Bligh to mark the spot and located right next to the Cadmans Cottage at The Rocks. It's an almost "unimpressive" spot unless you stop to explore. But the general area is quite pretty and if you head up opposite this statue you'll end up at the pedestrian mall area of The Rocks Market.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
