The Courthouse Hotel offers a similar scale to some of the larger Inner West pubs, with a standout outdoor area that wraps around the venue.
The outdoor space is the main drawcard, with plenty of room to move and settle in, as well as trees and plants that provide shade and give dogs something to sniff and explore. You can access this area directly from the street via a side gate, which makes it easy to arrive without going through the main bar.
It’s a good option if you’re after a spacious, outdoor-focused setting where your dog can relax alongside you.
Dogs are welcome in outdoor areas, with street access.
The Courty is the best place to bring your dog for a beer in the garden, But its the staff that make the place! They really are the heart and soul of the pub. So come on down and look for the dog at the bottom of the stairs and get the pat of a lifetime!!!
Great venue. Lots of room. Nice outdoor section. Pooch friendly. Good staff. Would love to see more art in the back beer garden : )
Most delicious gf fish and chips. Generous helping. Friendly staff. Good service. For me the music was too loud. We went out to the lovely courtyard to get away from the music but it was still too loud. However. If you are gf ..the best fish and chips ever!
Good selection of drinks. Standard menu and the food is reasonable. Great outdoor area that adds to the ambience. Staff and friendly and helpful. Setting up a tab was rather cumbersome though.
Ryan behind the bar is a total boss. Happy smiley friendly incredibly attentive and patient. Please give this guy a promotion. Also, special shout out to Nasreen on the door. Extremely professional and excellent at her job.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
