The sporting ground areas of King George Park are off-leash except during organised sporting games, training and events, when dogs must be on a leash. Dogs must be on a leash in the surrounding parkland including the Bay Run, within the fitness station area, and within 10 metres of the children's playground.

A little piece of paradise right in the city , with playground s picnic areas, lovely scenic walk ways (dog friendly) fishing and swimming places.

Has public toilets although they are unisex stalls and a bit dirty. Taps outside were good though and there was foam soap. The park also has running tracks.
