Point Road Park is a dog-friendly park in Rozelle. Just 700m away, Peter's of Kensington Café is a nearby spot to stop in after your walk.

Dog rules

Inner West Council's "Dog exercise areas" page states: "By law, dogs must be on a leash in public places unless the area is a designated off-leash area." Inner West Council publishes a list of gazetted off-leash areas; this venue is not on that list, so the council's general on-leash rule applies under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998. First time exploring this area and was quite surprised how nice this area is. Good parking areas and easy access make it easy to get to. Great place for my son to fish and for us to puppy watch!

Its an amazing park so close to the suburbs. Has ample parking but can get busy over the weekends. Best spot for a picnic with family and BBQ.

The riverside location offers an unobstructed view, which is perfect for witnessing the sun's slow descent into the water. So if you're a sunset lover, you'll like this place.
