Bridge Street Wharf Reserve is a dog-friendly park in Drummoyne with a fenced area where dogs can roam off lead and plenty of shade. Just 150m away, Peter's of Kensington Café is a nearby spot to stop in after your walk.
Dogs are permitted on-leash under NSW Companion Animals Act. Dogs must be under effective control at all times. Dogs prohibited within 10m of playgrounds and play equipment. Check on-site signage for any additional restrictions.
A small park that is conveniently located next to Birkenhead Point Shopping Centre, Iron Cove Bridge and A40 Victoria Road. It offers a great view of the Parramatta River and Iron Cove - a great spot for a picnic lunch. Though it’s lacking in amenity but Birkenhead Point Shopping Centre is only 2 minutes walk away. Parking is available at the Shopping Centre too (3 hours free parking).
Drummoyne ferry wharf is located on the southern side of the Parramatta River serving the Sydney suburb of Drummoyne. It served by Sydney Ferries Parramatta River services operating between Circular Quay and Parramatta. The single wharf is served by First Fleet and RiverCat class ferries.UpgradesOn 30 April 2014, the wharf closed for a five-month rebuild. The existing wharf was demolished, with a new one being built comprising a steel floating pontoon, a small concrete fixed entry platform and an aluminium gangway connecting the entry platform to the pontoon. It reopened on 17 September 2014.
Small park squeezed in next to the Iron Cove Bridge. Nice spots to set up on the grass river bank for a picnic or fishing.
