Absolutely blown away by every part of the dining experience! Ordered everything vegan on the menu and it was all incredibly delicious. All the wait staff were so lovely and accomodating. Thank you for such a lovely dinner.

Had a fabulous time for Mother’s Day here with my family!! The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Our waiter was hilarious at the beginning when we arrived, made us all feel comfortable, and had us laughing straight away. The decor was quirky, fun, and very arty, with a gorgeous 1920s–30s style vibe that we loved. Even the unique plates and cutlery were adorable and added to the whole experience. The service overall was great, and with how cold it was outside, the cosy warm atmosphere inside made it even better. We’ll definitely be back for sure!

Went here for our wedding anniversary and it was such a great experience. Service was top notch, like the staff seems genuinely happy to be there, and it really showed in the service. Food was AMAZING. We had the pani puri and arancini to start. first time trying pani puri and we loved it, and the arancini was spot on. For mains, we ordered the specials: beef cheek and miso salmon. The beef cheek was tender and full of flavour. The miso salmon was fresh, though I personally would’ve preferred the skin a bit crispier. Dessert was a highlight. I had the chocolate truffle, and my husband went adventurous with the liquorice cheesecake, surprisingly good. The decor also deserves a mention. The space ties in beautifully with the old theatre building. Overall, highly recommend. I can see why they get rave reviews.

My favourite restaurant in Katoomba. Celebrated my milestone birthday with family and close friends. Avalon never disappoints. The food, wine, service and ambiance is exceptional! Very very spoilt!! Played vinyl in the bar. An amazing evening! Big thank to Dylan and David for making it a perfect night!! 🥂🎉🎂🥰

During a 3-night stay in Katoomba, we enjoyed our food so much on the first night that we returned for a second sitting on the 3rd night. All our dishes were tasty, well prepared and of a good portion size. The venue is in quite a unique setting and is adorned in quite an eclectic manner! This is definitely not your average restaurant in any way and I would highly recommend a visit. If you're not hungry then just go for a drink in the bar to take in the surroundings.
