What people say
We visited this pub for lunch and overall had a nice experience. The food was definitely the highlight — I ordered the American beef burger, which was tasty, and my partner had the chicken wings, which they really enjoyed. The lunch menu has a good variety and decent value. The only downside was the ambience. The walls are painted black, which makes the space feel a bit drab and darker than it needs to be, and there wasn’t much airflow inside, so it felt a little stuffy. Parking is also only on the street, which isn’t always convenient. Overall, good food, friendly staff and a nice spot for a casual lunch, but the atmosphere could be brighter and more comfortable.
Simple little classic pub with a bar area a bistro some outside seating two small pokie rooms. The service I received was very good. And the drinks were well priced.
Great deal if you are in Katoomba on a Tuesday evening. A well cooked steak, fries and salad for $15 (if you also buy a drink). Nice atmosphere and friendly staff made for a nice evening out.
I loved every bit of it. The service is quite good. Ambience is nice and peaceful. The New York Steak was perfectly Medium Rare, with the right Diane sauce. End with tasty Cheesecake.
Top meal! Great service! I had the Flat Head and Chips, huge portion and delicious! My friend had the chicken salad, again big meal and very tasty. Service was brisk, choice of eating in the pub or quiet restaurant area. Pub quiz was very well organised and extremely popular. Good value and fantastic friendly service. Worth 6 stars!
