Porch and Parlour do service and hospitality well. It was a very cold and wet winter's day where staying in was so tempting but the team here made our visit not just tasty but fun! I feel that they are insightful and in tune to the needs and wants of their customers and are proactive about this. The cafe is not big and has both an indoor and outdoor seating area. There was a steady stream of customers yet the staff happily (and patiently!) let me occupy a table while I waited for my friend. They asked if there was anything they could get me but were being caring and not pushy about this. I ordered the breakfast burrito. It was well made with a good serve of fluffy egg. I saw other people order the Mediterranean breakfast bowl and that looked delicious. Pancakes too! The serving size and prices go well together. It was a pleasure to have been hosted by Porch and Parlour!

I had a porridge and a long black, both were good. Lovely team, nice vibe, ocean view.

Ohh lordy! I'm not usually one to review something on the Internet but felt absolutely compelled to put some feels down about this place. The art of the local cafe is not an easy thing to articulate but these peeps have nailed it. I won't ruin it by telling you every item on the menu (I think I'm there every second week LOL) but it's hard to go past the south american bowls and a well cut will&co blend. Best believe that PoPa is a whole vibe! This place is fresher than a snapper flippin' on the Tama break. Thank you to the lady from the bowling alley with the short blonde hair for always looking after me when I roll thru, never a drama. PS. Can we talk about some low-key DJ sets this summer?! Imagine!
