Wanted to grab brunch at a cafe before heading out of Bondi. Originally planned to go to Harry’s but it was so packed I kept walking down the street and stumbled upon G’day Bondi Cafe. Food was delicious and staff was friendly. Great atmosphere - seemed to be a good amount of locals catching up, reading, etc.

I discovered this place on Maps and it’s absolutely fabulous. I went there every single day during my week in North Bondi. The staff are incredibly attentive, and I was able to work in a calm, pleasant setting. But the real highlight: the food. Incredible dishes with Thai and Japanese-inspired twists — surprising and truly delicious. Hats off to the chef! This is literally Work of ART! Honestly, I’m quite picky when it comes to food — I’m French, after all. And to me, the Chef’s work in this place is worthy of a high-end, even gastronomic, restaurant. The flavors are creative and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place. Just a heads-up: there’s no Wi-Fi, as mentioned.

BEST matcha in Bondi!!! As a certified matcha snob I only ever go to G’day for my matcha when I am in Bondi now. The strawberry chia matcha is delicious but they also have an extensive matcha menu which I can’t wait to try. The matcha powder itself is very good quality and they hand whisk it! It’s very close to some other cafes in bondi which I think are grossly overrated and always have lines of people waiting for shitty matcha and mid food, and I walk past and think to myself - what idiots. If they walked 2 minutes further up the street they’d get a REAL matcha and not have to wait 20 minutes for a table. I’ve brought a few fellow matcha lovers to this place and they’ve all loved it. Food is also delicious and fresh and great service :)

A beautiful little cafe located in the heart of Bondi residential living. A nice balance of design and style makes this cafe very comfortable and also good value compared to so many others. Tasty food and well presented complimented with warm smiles from the service team all the way through! Make sure you seek it out!
