Trenerry Reserve sits on the southern headland of Coogee Bay with ocean views and seasonal whale watching. The off-leash area is an open grassed space available at all times. Waste bags and bins are provided, with parking nearby. The views make it one of the more scenic off-leash parks in the eastern suburbs.

Trenerry Reserve is a dedicated off-leash dog exercise area located high on the southern headland of Coogee Bay. From the open grassed area of the reserve there are spectacular views to the north over Coogee Beach and Dunningham Reserve, with breathtaking scenery to the south over rocky coastal cliffs and platforms. There's plenty of street parking nearby, or it's an easy one-kilometre walk south of Coogee Beach. The Coastal Walkway winds through the reserve heading north to the bustling Coogee Beach town centre and south along a timber boardwalk that crosses a peat bog. The boardwalk protects the sensitive and endangered cliff top plants. The reserve is less developed than the open space areas to the south and offers a place for quiet relaxation. Drinking alcohol is not permitted in the park.

Nice walk ways with benches all around. A big grassy area where people gather with their dogs in the center of is very popular. Dog poop bags and bins provided, unfortunately not everyone picks up after their dog. Nice views of wedding cake island and Coogee. Good surf fishing along the cliff sides which are easy enough to walk to. Birds abound in the area.
