Coogee Pavilion Rooftop

There are different levels with different food and atmosphere in each one. We chose the rooftop which serves Jimmy’s chicken which is a Middle Eastern cuisine. It is a popular spot especially around sunset which was beautiful the night we went. It is advisable to book in advance if you want an outside table. We shared the Za’atar bread, Halloumi plate, chicken wings and fries. All are quite generous in size and have a nice flavour, the wings have a slight kick but not over powering. Prices are on the higher side but you are paying for the position. The staff were friendly and helpful. I look forward to coming back and trying another part of the venue.

We had an absolutely fantastic time at the Coogee Pavilion Rooftop! The ambience and ocean views were simply stunning, and the service, especially from Serafina, was exceptional. She made the whole experience warm, relaxed, and memorable. We enjoyed a round of spicy Margaritas, some Prosecco, and a few beers, all perfectly made and served with a smile. The food was equally impressive, the charcoal chicken Habibi combo, chicken wings, and Jimmy’s vegetarian plate with marinated chicken were all bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. It was the perfect spot to spend quality time with my partner Jenine and my brother Sanjay, who was visiting briefly from the UK. Couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon… great drinks, delicious food, amazing service, and an unbeatable vibe. Highly recommend Coogee Pavilion Rooftop for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience by the beach! 🌊🍹✨

Lovely spot for early evening and sunset, especially from the top outdoor area. Lovely sea views of you get a good seat. Nice drinks selection and the food was excellent. The table waiting staff were friendly/smily. However, as happened previously, during our meal, a member of staff wanted to take down our sunshade parasol. It was still hot and sunny. Previously we declined but the guy insisted and literally climbed to kneel on our table, next to our food and drink, and reached over us in order to pull down the shade. This was despite our objections. All the bits of sand, dust, tree fall, bird droppings etc etc which had gathered on the parasol during the day dropped down into our drinks, food etc. And the staff just shrugged! This second time we were approached, again sun out, food just about to be delivered, maybe 5pm time. I refused as our food was about to arrive. 20mins later, same guy reappeared saying his manager had told him to take it down "for cameras". This time I refused again, as I didn't want the same bad experience as before. 10 mins later, just as we were finishing, a different man was sent, and just literally removed the parasol infront of us. Luckily we'd finished eating. I asked to speak to his manager but no one came forward. I informed him, this was very very poor customer service. The reason was "cameras and security"....yet these still exist all afternoon, so what happens early evening that's different. They should consider either not having any parasols full stop, or have a policy of only taking them down on an empty table. For these reasons, I wouldn't go back.

This review is specifically for the drinks and views only. I would highly recommend not to order the food, as it's quite expensive for the small serve. Come here for the drinks and the vibe. Get your food somewhere else, like the ground floor which does a good wood fired pizza. But the sweeping views of the beach and surrounding areas can't be beat here. Make sure you come here to soak in the views and the vibes.

Food is absolutely amazing, great place to go with friends on the weekend, if you wanna get away from your 9-5 job and just have a chill with your closest friends, I’d def recommend this. One side of the circle there was dj and people living life, the other side , they were serving 10 outta 10 dishes. Only downside was it was wayyy pricyyy 💰💰🤑 But it’s Coogee what can I sayyy 4.5 outta 5
