The Beresford Hotel has a large, open beer garden that gives dogs plenty of room to move and settle. There's a mix of open space and seating, with some greenery around that adds a bit of interest for dogs.

It can get busy at times, but outside of peak periods there's usually enough space for a dog to stretch out without feeling crowded. Shade and some shelter in the garden make it workable in most conditions.

Dog rules

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor beer garden.

Stunning bar indoor area with nice cocktail menus but also cute little bar in the outdoor area. 🍹 Bathroom is located downstairs, well designed and very clean. ✨ A good place for quick snack or brunch as well as great for full dining experience! Plus, super pet friendly!! 🥂🍽️ #Bar #Cocktails #Snacks #Brunch #Dining

My favourite local pub in Surry hills, beautiful outdoor area, lots of happy groups and after work drinks. We had the $25 steak special for Wednesday night with happy hour drinks ( happy hour until 7pm) steak perfect, chips perfect, pepper sauce perfect. Great vibe highly recommend.

Love the outdoor garden that's spacious. Huge modern bar and beer garden, chill scene, good music and great vibes. A nice place to meet friends and make new ones. Don’t miss Sunday Afternoon drinks. It starts get busy from 4 pm. A friendly good looking crowd keeps the outside courtyard packed.

We eat at almost all the pubs in the east and the Beresford consistently has the best food. Yes it's slightly more expensive, but worth it. Warning for oldies; Can get noisy on the weekends with the squawkers trying to outsell each other. Apart from that a very solid pub and great staff.

I went there on a Sunday, expecting a busy afternoon. To my surprise, the place was almost empty and now I know why. I ordered a couscous as a main dish and it was honestly the worst dining experience of my life. They served me a cold tabbouleh with four sad merguez thrown on top. Completely disgusting. That is not couscous. No proper ingredients, nothing that makes it an actual couscous. Please learn how to cook and learn what couscous even is. It was just a tabbouleh dumped on a plate and called something else. I didn’t even finish it straight to the bin. This place is just a total money-grab that treats customers like garbage. I will never go back.
