Wagyuto Clovelly

Phenomenal dinner last night! Amazing service, food was devoured! Not a single thing was left on the plates. Great bottle of wine. We asked for each dish to come out separately, one at a time and there was no issue with that, we also didnt feel rushed at all. We will be back and with a massive group of people. Thank you so much! Look out for the resveration!

A cosy little local Japanese-fusion spot. Service can be a bit slow and portions are on the smaller side. The pork belly skewers weren’t great, with a burnt and bitter taste on the first bite, so I wouldn’t recommend them. However, the other dishes were good — especially the tataki and wagyu skewers, which pair perfectly with beer or sake.

I am shocked! This place is incredible, I expected to pay double the price for the food we ate. We were a group of 8, and had a set menu with a plethora of wines and sake. Everything was delicious and super fresh. It’s one of the most affordable restaurants I’ve been to. Highly recommend!

Myself and my partner had a gorgeous mid week meal at Wagyuto last night. A little hidden gem in the eastern suburbs! Everything we ate we was amazing, so fresh and flavourful, but the thing that really stood out to us was the service. I gave an intolerance to onions and the staff could not have done enough to accommodate me, serving any sauces containing onions on the side, and even making me a fresh chimichuri without onions to accompany my steak. As well as being so warm and welcoming, the service staff had a thorough knowledge of all the dishes which was brilliant. 10/10 from start to finish - we will definitely be back!

I visited with my husband for dinner at this place. The restaurant mood is quite tidy, clean. I liked the plates and the style of this place. Definitely all dishes were greaaaaaat 👍🏻 We had tuna tartare, octopus, some sushi and desserts. My favorites were tuna and desserts. Yuzu creme brulee was amazing. We also tried to have special menu, very impressed cream cheese with yuzu sake too. Every hall staff were very kind and smiley and chefs looked professional. We were very satisfied this place, want to come again as soon as possible. Best place in Clovelly Strongly recommend 👍🏻👍🏻
