Dog rules

Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times in this park. Off-leash exercise is only permitted in Randwick City Council's 17 designated leash-free areas — this is not one of them. Dogs are not permitted in playgrounds, sports courts, food preparation areas, schools, or wildlife protection areas. Please pick up after your dog — failure to do so attracts a $275 fine. Great little playground! Does not have toilets unless there is access to the community centre which is usually closed unless there is an event! Flying fox has been broken for about 4 months now, would be good if the council sorted that out!

I stumbled upon this place as I am looking for a place to organise my toddler birthday party and found what I wanted :) It has a bathroom, kitchen and a good pedestal to organise anything you wish 🤞 The place is decent as it can fit the right amount of people (bear in mind about 30 people) and has the right amenities for hosting a good decent party 🥳 Downstairs, you have the park which is almost exactly what you need as it you get a mix of both 😉 I am not sure about the parking as Burnie street could get busy and we will suss that out soon and let know 😀

Burnie Park is a nice place where children up to say 9 - 10 years old can run around and have a great time. There are the usual playground equipment of slide and places to climb. One of the best things about this park is that there is a large area for children to run around. There are toilet facilities in the Community Hall, it's gated and an OK place to have parties. There is no bike or scooter track for children to ride on. Parking is on street and especially during the day, there should be no problem of finding parking. Weekends may be another issue. Overall, a good place for children to burn off energy

Beware of this slide for under 5 year olds. 3 year old just had serious injury. Runs very fast at the bottom. Other than that it is cool park.
