Sports Bar at Coogee Bay Hotel

Very happy that the Sports Bar was still open after we had a large dinner down the street. Decent array of drinks and the obligatory pool tables, so our night was complete.

Nice Sports bar with lovely staff However the security bloke there was overly aggressive at the door. Security are there for people's safety and not to provoke or cause trouble. Nothing happened because luckily me and my mates are mature and professional adults, both of which this guy lacked.

The bar dosen't have good people attending it. At the place Security was troublemaker and also the poor management didn't solve. I have feel discriminated by the employees and manager.

Pretty sure the security has a racist stream to there decisions, always funny when they say you had to much to drink and your coming in for your first and other reviews say the same thing ... avoid till it changes owner, management and security firm

The absolute worst. Guy working the door lets us walk by to go in under the sign that says sports bar only to find that the door is under the tab sign. Then he asks my friend how many drinks she’s had and she says 3. That’s 3 over the last 6 hours. He says that’s too many and refuses entry. Was it me, my Asian friend, or my gay friend? Sorry you don’t want our money. Your loss. Would def not recommend. Two thumbs down. 👎👎
