Enjoyed a traditional roast beef dinner while listening to some fantastic live music.

Ignore the late closing time advertised. I turned up just after midnight and chap on the door would have only let the Parish Priest in. He’d refused the people before me and gave me the “You won’t be served” line. Tuesdays aren’t big nights. There was no one in the bar area on view so he either had a thing about drinking(wrong job!) or just wanted an easy night. None of the people in front of me were stumbling or argumentative and accepted his refusal of entry.

From my first contact with Marty, every step forward was seamless. Nothing was too much trouble. We held our end of year Pickleball prizegiving night here. The food was exceptional. The service absolutely amazing. Richard the onsite manager, was so helpful and obliging. The girls behind the bar were friendly and welcoming. Chef Golam and his helper did an incredible job with the food and were also warm and friendly. We couldnt believe it! And to top it off, the other manager on duty (Kurt?), carried my goods to my car at the end of the evening. I highly recommend the staff and establishment. Service like this is rare these days. The good old classic pub. Got myself a rump steak that was cooked perfectly. The chef did a great job. Coming to eat here is just so easy and simple no hassle reasonably priced. If you want to just sit down with your mates have a beer watch some sport or bring your family. Great place to do it. Yeah this place doesn’t have the fancy bells and whistles but it’s just homely simple and a great environment to have a meal have a drink. Hang out with your friends. we will keep coming back.

Pork ribs were fantastic. Curry sauce on chips was overly sweet and tasted like it came from a jar of pataks. I was the only person in there eating and the food buzzer didn't work. 3 guys standing around behind counter ended up yelling over to me to come and collect my food, so who knows how long it had been sitting on the pass. Why one of them couldn't' have run it out to me, shows a severe lack of customer service.
