Alison Park is a tidy Randwick park with shade, a playground and a relaxed local feel. Dogs are welcome on-leash, and it drains reasonably well, making it a decent option for a walk even after rain. It is an easy, low-key spot for a gentle stroll close to home, with toilets on hand. A pleasant on-leash park for an everyday walk.
Dogs are welcome on leash. They're not allowed on beaches or rock pools, at schools, in playgrounds or shopping centres, or on sports-field playing surfaces. Keep your dog under control and follow signs on site. (Source: Randwick.)
Went for a walk with my dog after a long period of rain. The ground was wet but not as soaked as in other parks.
A good open area park close to shops and transport. Plenty of seating. Open grassed area, shaded tree section at one end, playground and restroom. It can get busy midweek when the park is utilised by local schools. Cute wooden sculptures on one corner opposite kindergarten. Watch out for Magpies in swooping season.
Not for bubbas more for toddlers perhaps 2.5 up in age. It's enclosed felt quite safe. Only down fall, no nearby toilets, only at the arcade.
Really damn good playground, with parking, swings, a shade, seating, trampoline, big slide, climbing equipment and more.
Green park with a kids playground and toilets. The park is located close to Randwick Council office, business district and the police station.
