La Spiaggia

We recently dined at La Spiaggia and had a really lovely experience overall. We ordered the cannelloni, which was absolutely delicious — full of flavour and clearly made with care. There was a small issue with the dish, however the way it was handled truly stood out. We let the waitress know, and she was incredibly kind and professional. She apologised straight away, replaced the meal without any hesitation, and made sure we were well looked after. She even offered us a limoncello, which was such a thoughtful touch. When it came time to pay, we were genuinely surprised when she told us not to worry about the bill. That level of service and care is rare and very much appreciated.

A casual vibe match with Googee beach and just few steps to the beach. I like spagetti seafoid marinara and dessert was custard with caramel.

I recently visited La Spiaggia in Coogee on a busy Sunday, and it was an absolute delight. We tried their arancini balls, a couple of their pizzas : la golosona and Nutella pizza for dessert, and sipped on some limoncello and Aperol spritz. Everything was just incredible. The food was delicious!!! the service was super friendly, and despite it being a busy day, the wait times were just right. A special shout-out to Natale, the chef, who made the whole experience even better 🙌🏻he’s truly talented and it shows in every dish. Honestly, it’s some of the best pizza I’ve had in Coogee. Highly recommend it!

Very nice service. The food was very good. Excellent pizza. Great dough and I liked the crust which was not too thick and chewy. The bruschetta was also good. The atmosphere was nice, perhaps a little bit loud at times which made it slightly difficult to converse, but this was by no means uncomfortable - rather just had to speak up a bit. Location is good as it is next to the beach which makes for a nice stroll afterwards. It is also within 50m or so of a bus stop which makes the location particularly convenient.

Fabulous food and staff! Everyone was so lovely with getting my friends and I seated and served. We were a bit rushed as there was a booking after us but we still left before the next people arrived. Highlights were the lychee cocktail (if you have a sweet tooth.. which I do), the pastas (the gnocci just melted in my mouth, fantastic) and the pizza. We also shared most dishes and the restaurant was accommodating of this.
