La Spiaggia is a cafe in Coogee. We don't yet have enough signals to confirm whether dogs are allowed. It's best to check with the venue before visiting with your dog. Just 250m away, Goldstein Reserve is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.
A casual vibe match with Googee beach and just few steps to the beach. I like spagetti seafoid marinara and dessert was custard with caramel.
I recently visited La Spiaggia in Coogee on a busy Sunday, and it was an absolute delight. We tried their arancini balls, a couple of their pizzas : la golosona and Nutella pizza for dessert, and sipped on some limoncello and Aperol spritz. Everything was just incredible. The food was delicious!!! the service was super friendly, and despite it being a busy day, the wait times were just right. A special shout-out to Natale, the chef, who made the whole experience even better 🙌🏻he’s truly talented and it shows in every dish. Honestly, it’s some of the best pizza I’ve had in Coogee. Highly recommend it!
Very nice service. The food was very good. Excellent pizza. Great dough and I liked the crust which was not too thick and chewy. The bruschetta was also good. The atmosphere was nice, perhaps a little bit loud at times which made it slightly difficult to converse, but this was by no means uncomfortable - rather just had to speak up a bit. Location is good as it is next to the beach which makes for a nice stroll afterwards. It is also within 50m or so of a bus stop which makes the location particularly convenient.
Dinner of pasta, pizza & glass of red - delish. Tortellini Boscaiola, mushies, pancetta & cream sauce was full flavoured, without being rich. Calabrese pizza from the wood fire oven had an awesome base- thin, slightly charred, not chewy & perfectly cooked. Topping quantity was sparse, as pizza topping should be, in my view. Can’t go past a tiramisu and this one didn’t disappoint. Friendly hosts & prompt service, and the place being full on a Wed night shows it is a locals favorite. EDIT: second visit. Fettuccine with goat ragu, and pizza romana this time. Pasta tender with great flavour & pizza having a party in my mouth. Double up on the tiramisu indulgence.
We came here for the first time last week, and while we expected a little more, it was ok overall. I got the calimari starter while my partner got the bruchetta. I got the bolognaise and she got the margherita pizza. Pizza was good, and same with the camimari , while to be honest and compared to other Italians in Sydney, the bruschetta and the spaghetti bolognaise were very average for the price. Service and ambiance were good.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
