Little Green Bean Cafe

We stumbled across this handsome pet friendly cafe on our way to find a place for lunch. The staff were warm and welcoming upon arrival. We got pancake and salmon stack. My goodness! DELICIOUS!! Coffee is stunning! Will definitely be coming back when we are in the area. Thankyou for such a lovely dining experience

I wish I could have given a higher review because the owners are such lovely people. We ordered two grilled chicken wraps and a couple of hashbrowns with coffee. Food tasted healthy and the coffee was excellent. However, the let down was the hygiene practices we saw going on in the kitchen while we sat inside. The owner chef seemed in a complete mad rush. As he tried to eat some food himself, he wiped his hands constantly on a dirty apron and on his mouth and then with the same hands picked up various food items and placed them in customers wraps or salads. We even saw him grab hot hashbrowns with his bare hands out of the griller. And he would cut an avocado open and then basically grab it out of the skin with the same hands and drop it directly into a salad. He did use cooking tongs as well but these were placed directly on top of dirty cleaning cloths that had been used to wipe down dirty benches, food scraps and greasy oil etc. And he was trying to toast so much bread at the same time that half of it was falling off onto the metal benches around where he was cooking. Maybe by sitting inside we saw what other customers don’t see. But I think these health and cooking hygiene practices need to improve before we would return.

So pleased to find organic coffee here. We get a perfect brew every time and we have been coming by for years for simple fuss-free fare. Warm and friendly customer service from a gorgeous couple who have been running this cafe for well over a decade.
