Centennial Parklands
Centennial Parklands is a large, open park with a mix of wide grassed areas, mature trees, and quieter sections around the edges. The scale allows for longer, more exploratory outings, with enough variation to suit different types of dogs depending on the time of day.
Dog rules
Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times in this park. Off-leash exercise is only permitted in Randwick City Council's 17 designated leash-free areas — this is not one of them. Dogs are not permitted in playgrounds, sports courts, food preparation areas, schools, or wildlife protection areas. Please pick up after your dog — failure to do so attracts a $275 fine. What people say
Located on Grand Parade, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺. Centennial Parklands encompasses three of Sydney’s favourite locations for relaxation, recreation and sport: Moore Park, Queens Park and Centennial Park. You can play more than 35 different sports in the Parklands 120 fields, running tracks and venues. The Parklands is a popular destination for weddings and you can book to have your event there. The walking trails are wonderful that lead you around the lakes with so many areas that you can sit and relax. There’s the coffee shop that you can enjoy some delicious food. There’s great facilities eg toilets and tables and chairs that you can eat your own food at. The wildlife is plentiful especially around the lakes. You will also most likely spot a horse or two. The whole park has been beautifully designed that allows you to enjoy it the max. I have enjoyed my time every time i have come here and would definitely recommend a visit. Thumbs up from me 👍👍👍👍
This is a fantastic place to enjoy your free time, to walk, run, exercise, collect your thoughts, meditate, reflect on your mistakes and your life to better yourself. Breath pure oxygen, enjoy all green around you, the beautiful majestic trees, the green grass. From early morning till sunset, for families, for couples, for people getting old, for kids, this park is for everyone to enjoy including dogs and local animals. Enjoy this park and respect it by keeping clean and healthy as you find it, to enjoy again tomorrow.
Beautiful Wedding Venue & Professional Service I chose Centennial Parklands for my wedding and was offered the One More Shot Pond location. It was absolutely perfect—tucked away at the back of the park, away from the main road, offering a peaceful and stunning natural backdrop. The team at Centennial Parklands were professional, responsive, and helpful throughout the planning process. They provided all the options upfront before payment, and made sure everything was organised for the day, including blocking off the area and reserving car spaces for guests. The day went smoothly and the setting was magical. I highly recommend Centennial Parklands to anyone looking for a beautiful and well-managed wedding venue.
This park is truly the most beautiful in Sydney! It has everything you could ask for—stunning surroundings, spacious picnic areas, well-maintained playgrounds, and great cycling paths. Whether you're into running, leisurely walks, cycling, or simply relaxing with family and friends, this park offers the perfect setting. We've enjoyed everything from peaceful morning strolls to fun-filled birthday parties here.
Big park for bush walking, exploring nature environments. You can see fish, turtles, geese and bats hanging in the trees. But be careful poo fairy everywhere🤣🤣
