Bitton Rose Bay

Excellent French bistro meets East Sydney cafe. Great meals with prices that aren't the typically high French food price. Menu is a mix of cafe classics like burgers and more interesting items like lobster roles. Nice outdoor seating opposite the golf course. Will try their Alexandria cafe soon too.

I attended Bitton in Rose Bay for my brother-in-law’s birthday and was disappointed by the cleanliness standards. Several pieces of cutlery arrived with visible egg residue still on them, our water glasses appeared dirty, and some of the plates were not properly clean either. While the atmosphere and occasion were enjoyable, basic hygiene is something customers should be able to expect when dining out. Having to question whether cutlery, glasses, and plates have been properly washed takes away from the experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and reviews their cleaning and quality control processes. Clean cutlery, glasses, and plates are the bare minimum for any restaurant, and unfortunately this experience did not meet that standard.”

We’ve been to Bitton Rose Bay many times, but tonight the duck breast truly amazed us. The skin was perfectly crispy while the meat was tender and juicy, and the sauce was beautifully balanced. The steak was, as always, excellent and cooked to perfection. Matt took wonderful care of us throughout the evening — attentive, warm, and professional. It was a very enjoyable night, and we’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommended!

This a very cute place, giving "little village" vibes. The service is always warm and on point, making you feel at home, quick but not rushing. They easily accommodate for families and prams which is a plus. I have been only a handful times, loved the Polenta porridge for breakfast; the Moroccan chicken sandwich is really good and so well priced (comes with chips which was a surprise). Will go back to try even more dishes.

The service here is exceptionally good. Energetic and slick team. Great food. Speedy service. Lovely breakfast and coffee. I highly recommend. Even if they look busy I think the wait is quite short given speed of service and kitchen.
