Rose Bay Park sits on secluded Bellamy Beach, behind the police station and away from the busier Rose Bay Beach. Dogs are welcome on-leash, kept clear of playgrounds and food areas, with a sandy edge for a paddle and kayak or paddleboard hire nearby. There is shade, a playground and parking on hand. A quiet on-leash spot for a walk and a swim.
Dogs must be under effective control and on a leash at all times in all public places, except in designated off-leash areas. Dogs are prohibited within 10 metres of children's playground equipment and food preparation areas, from school grounds, child care centres, and indoor shopping centres. Dog faeces must be removed immediately. (Source: Woollahra Council — Walking Your Dog, woollahra.nsw.gov.au.)
This is Rose Bay Park on secluded Bellamy Beach behind the police station not Rose Bay Beach as some reviews suggest. Hire a Kayak or Stand Up Paddle Board from Lance at Point Piper Kayaks, meet his friend Greg the pelican. Great for a picnic, swim and dog friendly. Sometimes you will spot a local seal, a green turtle and recently a pod of dolphins in this calm protected bay. Unfortunately there are no toilets.🐕🦤🐬🛶😎
Lovely park on Rose Bay. Plenty of shade and a lovely vista over the boats in the Marina and on the Bay. Great place to have a takeaway coffee and relax for a while. Nice walk to be had around the Bay to Lyne Park.
Loved the scenic beauty and the serene atmosphere around while going for casual walks and visits. Calm & peaceful, less crowded, abit dirty sea water, definitely not a place to enjoy swim. I love this park, especially good when you got kids as there is a great playground there!Calm & peaceful, less crowded, abit dirty sea water, definitely not a place to enjoy swim.
Nice Nice little beach and Marina the park is small as well! Love ❤️ seeing 👀 the sailing ⛵️ boats
