Rose Bay Community Garden is a small, friendly local green space in Rose Bay. Dogs are welcome on-leash, kept clear of playgrounds and food areas, and it makes an easy spot for a short neighbourhood walk. It is a low-key, community-minded pocket of green rather than a destination park, well regarded by locals as dog-friendly. A pleasant on-leash stop close to home.
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times when in public unless in a sign-posted off-leash area. Dogs are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play areas, within 10 metres of food preparation/consumption areas (except outdoor dining), from school grounds and childcare centres. Dog owners must clean up after their dogs. Source: Woollahra Municipal Council – Walking Your Dog (woollahra.nsw.gov.au/Services/Animals-and-Pets/Walking-Your-Dog)
Fantastic for locals. A community organisation that help each other to grow plants.
Lovely initiative, well executed. Feels really peaceful and pleasant, great for both adults and children.
Beautiful and well maintained space in a very peaceful setting, the Garden Circle that's been running for young kids is a great initiative for locals.
Wonderful community garden! Beautiful environment! Join the parent and toddlers gardening group on Wednesday mornings at 9.30am.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
