Lovely cafe with friendly staff, heaps of seating, indoors and outdoors. Excellent service, wonderful diverse menu with gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options - Acai bowl and smoothie, cauliflower bites and mushrooms on toast. Dog friendly outdoor seating, dog water bowls available.
We had planned to go to another cafe but there was no parking and we stumbled across Archie's. There were plenty of parking spots, a magnificent view of the Harbour Bridge, and great food. The service was fast and friendly and the prices reasonable.
Food here is reasonably priced for the area and decent servings too. All meals were polished clean. Unfortunately the place looked dirty, mens toilets were filthy.
Bad experience overall. Not welcomed or offered a table upon entry. Just left standing awkwardly at the front door for a very long time. Once seated, service was poor - needed to bend over backwards to even put an order in. Ordered 2 coffees and 2 meals. Meals arrived (after a very long wait) but drinks never did. Food was ok, nothing special. No apologies or anything offered about the drinks. Definitely won’t be back, and suggest you do the same.
Found this café by accident after giving an extremely crowded Bondi a miss. It was easy to park, the food and service were fantastic. The views were fabulous too. We had a small cappuccino and an iced coffee which were great. He had carrot pancakes while I had the smoked salmon topper. Everything was fresh and delicious. The staff were lovely and the food came out promptly. This is obviously a place that the locals love. If we lived in Sydney, we would happily come here regularly.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
