The best Sunday roast we ever had. We’ve been trying a lot of places for Sunday roast every week and by day The Paddington is on our top of our list, the crispiest potatoes ever and the nicest receptionist we didn’t have a booking but she tried to give us a table. Highly recommended 🫶🏼
A proper roast chicken with delicious sides. We stopped in for lunch on Sunday and it was packed, but we were still sat immediately at a communal table. They have a great drink menu, but the food was the show stopper. We got marinated olives, a salad with tomatoes plums and burrata, kingfish crudo, and shared a Sunday roast. The Yorkshire pudding was made just right and the vegetables were so fresh. The chicken was perfectly roasted and came with a nice gravy. Highly recommend for a filling cozy meal! If you’re in a rush they have a take away window up front.
Nice food but service very slow . I know it was a busy weekend . The half cooked chicken is great value ahd superb flavours with chips and side salad . Loved the brocillini dish and roast potatoes . The octopus special was excellent . All good once someone took your order but were waiting a long time to get a drink and order food .
A pleasant atmosphere created by the rustic aesthetic decor with dull ambient lighting. Attentive and friendly wait staff. And good selection of beers and wine. The cocktail list is limted but do have some Paddington only cocktails. A decent menu to choose from. The rotissarie chicken with chips and cos salad. And the char grilled swordfish were both very nice. There's also a banquet menu available too. Reasonably priced to expensive. $$-$$$
We got the half chicken that included salad and fries, we added on roast potatoes and asparagus which was delicious!
