Embarkation Park
Embarkation Park is an unusual one — a rooftop-level park in Potts Point with views across to the harbour, the bridge, and the naval base at Garden Island. The park is fenced on all sides (though the two main entrances are open), giving it a semi-enclosed feel. Off-leash access runs from sunrise to sunset. It's a social spot with a steady stream of local dogs, and the views make even a routine morning walk feel like an event. Drinking water and waste bags are available.
Dog rules
Dog off-leash allowed from sunrise to sunset daily. Listed in the City of Sydney dog off-leash areas program.

Dog park on roof top! Same level as Victoria Street. There's two entrances, both wide open. Aside from that, it is fenced all around. Some dogs are off leash, some on leash. Small pockets of greenery scattered throughout park, benches dotted around for humans. Could only find one drinking fountain. Nice view of harbour and ships.
Love this park! Perfect place to take the dogs to as it is an off-leash park. It's open from sunrise until sunset but as long as you're in by the time they close it up you can let yourself out of the turnstiles. Also has great views of the harbour bridge and the top of the opera house too! Also features bins with dog bag dispensers!
Happy Friday (or any day) from Embarkation Park - my new Hyde Park, end of my street, harbour, bridge, city & navy base views, & as many furry friends on first visit as my beloved Hyde Park. Have a wonderful weekend 😘😘😘🐕🐕🐕👯♀️👯♀️👯♀️🌈🌈🌈🎉🎉🎉 xxx
Decent place to catch the NYE fireworks with a partially obstructed view of the harbour. The good thing is that it's not as popular and you don't have to be out all day or for as long. We arrived just after 9pm and there was plenty of space available with only a handful of people.
Sunset here was beautiful and soothing. Good park for a nice walk and enjoying the skyline. Reminds me of Penn's landing in Philadelphia somehow.
