Brennan Park is a well-equipped park in Wollstonecraft with picnic tables, exercise equipment and a playground. In keeping with North Sydney's parks, dogs are welcome off-leash here, though it is not fenced, so it suits dogs that stay close. There is shade, drinking water and toilets on hand for a comfortable visit. A versatile, pleasant spot for an off-leash walk.

Dog rules

North Sydney is a dog-friendly area and all Council parks and public reserves are off-leash areas, except for bushland areas, playing fields when organised sporting events are in progress, and venues where dogs are not allowed. Dogs must be under effective control at all times. (Source: North Sydney Council — northsydney.nsw.gov.au)

A park with more variety than the middle aisle of a well stocked Aldi store. There are numerous picnic tables and benches, gym equipment, children's playground, plenty of room for dog exercise and interesting trees. Also, listen to that sweet sound of trains rumbling by.

Lovely park in the heart of Wollstonecraft. There's toilet here, and water fountain. This park is off leash park, but not fenced.

What a beautiful place to be lost in the greenery, read the history of the place, imagine yourself in those days, how hard people worked to give this garden this shape & quietly give gratitude to the makers. A gentle thank you for the beautiful fig trees, giving shade & oxygen, at the age of 60 I sat on the swing & managed to take a selfie video thanks to modern phones…loved the automatic washroom, music played while one peed … what a journey. Could smile at myself & enjoyed walking from St. Leonard’s to Brennan Park to Oyster Cove & back home to St. Leonards. Have taken videos of quaint looking birds too… so happily dancing in the park.
