Primrose Park is a peaceful park at Crows Nest where the green meets the water, good for picnics and walks. In keeping with North Sydney's parks, dogs are welcome off-leash, kept on-leash in bushland and off the playing fields during organised sport. There is BBQ facilities, shade and parking on hand. A pretty off-leash park by the water.
North Sydney is a dog-friendly area and all Council parks and public reserves are off-leash areas, except for bushland areas, playing fields when organised sporting events are in progress, and venues where dogs are not allowed. Dogs must be under effective control at all times. (Source: North Sydney Council — northsydney.nsw.gov.au)
Peaceful location where the park meets the water. It's a good location for picnics and walks. There is parking but a fair walk to the oval. It's nice in winter but during summer there are not many shade options. People bring their dogs here and they tend to free roam.
Loved the child road tracks for bicycle riding. Totally neat clean and well maintained. The soccer field road is crazy narrow dont go there when teams are playing its congested as
Primrose Park in Cremorne is very close to where we stayed, and it was perfect for a short walk with our 10-month-old and the pram. The park itself isn’t huge, but there is plenty of greenery and the bay area is really beautiful. Just a small note: the path goes downhill all the way to the park, which means you’ll have to walk back up on the return. It can be a bit tricky, especially with a pram, but overall it was a lovely spot for a quick stroll.
Beautiful park land and sports field with water view. Chris and me arrived after Sunday breakfast for a walk. Will come back for a picnic.
Awesome experience playing cricket here. Lush green outfield, right next to the waterside. Beautiful landscape!
