Brightmore Reserve is a green local park in Cremorne with shade, a playground and a relaxed neighbourhood feel. In keeping with North Sydney's parks, dogs are welcome off-leash, with dogs kept on-leash in the bushland wildlife-protection areas. There is room for an easy walk and a run, with toilets on hand. A pleasant off-leash spot close to home.

Dog rules

All North Sydney Council parks are off-leash by default. Dogs must be leashed in bushland areas (Wildlife Protection Area).

This wonderfully well hidden playground was built in 1997 with just zebra crossings and the ever annoying roundabouts. The aim was to provide a fun, yet educational experience for kids 10 and under. This little track is becoming furthermore popular and in 2011 a strong demand for additional and corresponding improvements led to the creation of what we see today, with Alamo styled shop fronts and emergency vehicles on display. Lastly, the new 'Toddler' play area that was created to accommodate kids that were not tearing up rubber on the track (which is fully fenced and gated) is full of more traditional setups like swings, slides and spring rockers all with shade to boot!!
