That Place Next Door - TPND

We came here for Sunday brunch. We had bacon and eggs & corn fritters. There was a mix up with putting the order through to kitchen but they were very apologetic and offered us extra coffees and brought out juice. Lovely service. Also a nice place to sit opposite the park in the shade.

TPND was on my way home and I read the previous good reviews. It surpassed my expectations in the friendly, professional and polite service. Great decor, atmosphere and setting, and the food was perfectly prepared and delicious, superior coffee, and all very reasonable. For the last few years, I have been disappointed with the standards and sameness of other cafes. It is not my local, but worth making the trip. Highly recommended.

Been here a few times,the service and food are always great. Love the vibe, and their coffee is top notch! The staff are amazing,friendly and kind. William is the best, providing excellent customer service to everyone. Definitely coming back again. Highly recommended!

I discovered this café two years ago, and it was such a pleasant surprise! The coffee is absolutely delicious, the service is outstanding,always warm and attentive,and the food is an explosion of flavors 😍. The portions are very reasonable for the price. Even though I live in another suburb, I never hesitate to come back for my cappuccino and the chicken, bacon, avo & cheese toast or avo and poached eggs 😋. Thank you, Sameer and Will, for consistently maintaining such high standards in service and quality!

Fantastic cafe! Spoiled for choice in the Alexandria area when choosing a place to eat, however, TPND I have to say is the place to go. We've had the full English (includes beans) and the eggs Benedict many times and it's always very tasty, the service is also notch and incredibly friendly! Thoroughly recommend the bottomless brunch too (pictures attached).
