Gr8 little club with nice view over the bowling greens. Clean & bright atmosphere. Has Chinese cuisine served (check days/times), with very tasty food. Worth the stop-over as a half-way point between Sydney & Ulladulla area.
This rating is for the Chinese Restaurant in the Berry Bowlo. Have lunched here many times and always have found the chinese food to be of excellent quality and value. Lunch time menu is great for the price ($15.30 at the time of writing) and is plentiful with both Chinese and general pub-grub like burgers and fish and chips on offer.
Great lunch deals- $13.30 for a schnitzel, chips and salad! Same price for 2 pieces of fish, chips and salad. Lots more on menu. Support this great place if you can-they were flooded out in April 2024.
Really nice club with a very regional friendly feel. Good range of on tap beers. A well stocked bar to cover everyone’s tastes. The Chinese restaurant is ok. Big serves of food and the ingredients are fresh enough. You get good bang for your buck but this is old school Chinese take out style food. It’s not the modern interpretation with its fusions and influences, it’s just Chinese food lol. Friendly and efficient service. It’s worth checking out but it’s basic.
Classic country Chinese at the bowlo. Had the fried rice which was delicious and the Mongolian beef which was a little on the spicy side but nevertheless it was yummy. Food came out quick and great service. Had to try the fried ice cream, the batter had a nice lemon taste which was pretty cool. Doesn’t matter how bad your day was, you’ll walk out with a grin from ear to ear.
