Federal Park
Federal Park sits on the Glebe foreshore with harbour views and a mix of open grass, a skate park, and playground areas. The grassy sections are off-leash at all times, and the main sports field is off-leash when not being used for organised sport. Dogs are excluded from the wetland, skatepark, playground, and BBQ areas. It's part of the broader Glebe Foreshore walk, so can be combined with a longer waterfront outing.

Grassy and paved park by the waterfront at Glebe. Great place to take your dog for a walk, some cafés for coffee but thats further along towards Glebe/ Fish Markets. Good place for a picnic.
There are a lot of parks along the Glebe Foreshore. Federal Park is on the Annandale side of Johnstons Creek and contains a large playground, skate park, dog park, adult exercise equipment, Dog Memorial and toilets. 🍭 The playground at Federal Park is fantastic! Great for kids of all ages. Climbing gym, slides, swings and sand pit. Unfortunately, the flying foxes are currently closed. 🚻 There are toilets located just under the light rail overpass. 🐕 Great place for dog lovers! Off-leash dog park and lovely dog memorial under the light rail arches. 🌭 The park has BBQ facilities and picnic tables 🛹 The skate park is new, really nice and friendly for people of all ages. You'll find kids in the morning and older skateboarders and roller skaters as the day rolls on. 🚈 Here, you're equidistant between two light rail stops: Jubilee Park and Roselle Bay. This is the best playground along the Glebe Foreshore. Enjoy it!

Great public parkland is close to the city. Great location for sunrise 🌅 photography 📸.
Loads of kids playing soccer on the new synthetic pitch. There’s a scooter park and a playground with a flying fox around the corner. A great way to spend this Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
