The Riverlink is a cafe in Maitland where dog access has not yet been confirmed — it's worth checking before you visit.
Despite it being 1.45pm and the menu stating lunch running to 3pm, we were told they were closed as they had new hours until 2pm after the menu was printed. I then queried as to why they were closed then as it was not 2pm and there were people eating food that had just been delivered. I was then told they had run out of food and needed to prep for tomorrow. Plenty of excuses, and no apologies. Terrible service and never coming back despite the great location.
Great food here, but after sitting AND ordering drinks they informed us they were fully booked and kicked us out. Absolutely disgraceful. No proper apology. I wouldn’t come back here ever.
Lovely breakfast by the river, views are beautiful food was delicious and the juice is freshly juiced! Well priced for quality
Food very unremarkable for the price and rude staff. My 3 year old son accidentally dropped some food on the ground, we then got a lecture from the waiter to not feed the pigeons. Only thing going for the place is the view.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
