Maggio's Cafe is a cafe in Cammeray with outdoor seating. It hasn't yet been confirmed as dog-friendly, so it's best to check with the venue before visiting.
Besides it being super hot at the outdoor seating area, ambience was nice, very busy cafe during the lunch time. The food was OK, tried the pasta and fish burger - they do a crumbed burger but tbh battered would've been better, was expecting a chicken burger with every bite :) - tried the carrot cake was very yummi, good soft texture and the cream was deeee licious. The pastries looked good though I think that's what the actual rating for the place is for and the baguettes, will try next time!
For over 25 years Maggios Cafe has been a Cammeray favourite offering a great selection of Italian dishes, great coffee awesome pastries. It can get crazy busy at weekends, so be prepared to wait 5-10 minutes for a table. The food is delicious, the service is excellent and to top it off, the prices are very reasonable.
I LOVE this cafe, have been going since I was young, before school starts I used to grab coffees (+ hot choccys) and treats. My old usual favourite was been the avo on toast with poached eggs, but ever since I tried Maggios Italian eggs I can’t go back! It’s so good and I have no clue what’s in it (I need the recipe) The coffee here is also the best I’ve had, once I asked for a frothy cappuccino and they surely did deliver! It had a perfect thick layer of froth! Amazing service and a pleasant atmosphere in early mornings — before the hustle and bustle of later mornings ofc. Later in the day is also quite a nice time to go and read while sipping a coffee.
Tucked away in Cammeray, this bustling café sits right at the heart of the neighborhood. The vibe is lively and full of regulars—clearly a local favorite. 💁♀️ Service: The staff stay friendly and efficient even when busy. Orders come out quickly. 🍔 Food: Tried the classic beef burger—simple and traditional in look and taste, but the beef patty was quality and juicy. Also had a cake from the cabinet, baked in-house—not too sweet, nicely done. A solid neighbourhood spot for a straightforward meal or coffee.
Great customer service and yummy food. Came in for lunch and I didn’t want to leave. I gilt recommend their Bruschetta and ice creams as well. Lauren, Margot, Bonnie, jade, Josh, Christian, Ali, Mary, Riha and Haidie are all absolute weapons
