Maggio's Cafe

Tucked away in Cammeray, this bustling café sits right at the heart of the neighborhood. The vibe is lively and full of regulars—clearly a local favorite. 💁‍♀️ Service: The staff stay friendly and efficient even when busy. Orders come out quickly. 🍔 Food: Tried the classic beef burger—simple and traditional in look and taste, but the beef patty was quality and juicy. Also had a cake from the cabinet, baked in-house—not too sweet, nicely done. A solid neighbourhood spot for a straightforward meal or coffee.

Great customer service and yummy food. Came in for lunch and I didn’t want to leave. I gilt recommend their Bruschetta and ice creams as well. Lauren, Margot, Bonnie, jade, Josh, Christian, Ali, Mary, Riha and Haidie are all absolute weapons

The food, sweets & coffee are incredible! Make sure you visit their little side bakery before you go!! Today I had the egg panini with prosciutto & rocket + and a coffee to dine in + a chocolate croissant + baked ricotta cheesecake + chocolate cannoli ( to share when I got home) to die for! Highly recommended 🤤

I had high expectations for the pistachio dessert, but it turned out very different from what I imagined. The outer shell was soft rather than crisp, and the filling inside was way too heavy. It felt like biting into a solid bun filled all the way through. The texture and balance just didn’t work for me. Honestly, it completely changed my impression of this item, and wouldn’t recommend it. The chocolate pastry was fine but nothing special, quite standard, not really bringing anything new. Service and atmosphere were pleasant overall, but no more the pistachio.

Maggio’s Cammeray a lovely cafe in the heart of Cammeray a fantastic location, looks like it’s very popular with the locals .The staff were very attentive. The Menu has a huge selection. and I tried the Fresca Salad which was delicious. Followed by the exquisite cakes made at the Maggio’s bakery. A shoutout to Jack an excellent waiter with greatLocal knowledge!. I would highly recommend Maggio”s for breakfast and lunch !
