It’s a lovely little spot. Been around for a long time. Had lunch today. Food and coffee below average for the price paid and it took over 30 min to get it during lunch - make sure you are not employed somewhere with a timed lunch if you come here…. We ordered Avo on toast with extra sides of poached egg and baked beans and a Healthy Breakfast - stir fried mushroom w basil and tomato, poached egg and feta and extra side of avocado. Two regular coffees. The baked beans were not classic baked beans they were gross tasting refried Mexican beans served cold, all the poached eggs were cold and tasting sour. The stir fried mushroom was stir fried with big chunks of onions and green shallots with a grainy lumpy whole pepper paste, it was awful particularly if you managed to bite a pepper. No sign of any basil but some wilted fried spinach and a few chunks of tepid tomatoe pieces. Everything was greasy and oily. Topped with a tablespoon of crumbled feta. The rye bread was soggy and tasted like stir-fry oil and on top of all this mess balsamic vinegar was generously poured that was sickly sweet. Coffees were watery and with a burnt flavour. Paid just a bit over $60 and it wasn’t worth it. Shared feedback to the owner that shrugged her shoulders with a sorry about that. Didn’t offer anything or refund for the food that was spoiled or incorrectly advertised. Poor attitude. Head to Chaos in Neutral Bay instead or really anywhere else. Really Not worth it.
Love the coffee here. Not sure what beans they use but definitely gives you a good kick. Food is good and reasonably priced & they also do some pretty unique dishes
I came here with my mum before our screening at the gorgeous Hayden Orpheum Cinema around the corner. The food was delicious, well prepared and presented beautifully. Service was attentive and generous with alot of positive energy. Finally, the atmosphere was just perfect with people reading books, chatting quietly, on their phones watching videos, or just soaking in the beautiful surroundings tucked away from the busy road ahead.
This place is doing everything the best they can and they deserve a great review and lots of business because of their top notch effort. They really care about providing a pleasant service with good food and it shows in the experience. We went there once to try it and liked it so much that we have just returned from our second meal there this week. The food has been delicious and I can highly recommend the fried chicken burger and the Scotch fillet. The Scotch fillet is the best and most reasonably priced steak I've had in Sydney in a long time. The pineapple Express and orange cold pressed juices are also delicious. The atmosphere is pleasant and the location is calm and quiet even though it's located near a road. The prices are great, especially when you take the portion sizes and quality into account. We've eaten at other restaurants that had half the quality for double the price. Siborg is a clear winner here. Lastly, the people talking orders and serving you are very kind. They treated us with care at a level that was notably and memorably pleasant.
Lovely owners, tasty dinner only on Thursday-Friday-Saturday… Prawns dumplings, duck rice paper rolls, seafood pancake, nasi lemak… everything was very well made!
