Marina Cafe and Bar is a bar in Rozelle with an outdoor area. Dog access isn't confirmed, but venues with an outdoor area are often dog friendly, so it may be worth checking. Just 550m away, Fitzroy Avenue Reserve is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.

Only 2 cafe/restaurant on the island, one close to the ferry terminal and this is the other one. We had late lunch there, and we ordered fish & chips as some items in the menu were sold out. Good fish and chips, with coleslaw. Good portion and we finished everything. Fish and chips are nice, but the coleslaw is a bit dry and good to have more sauce. Outdoor seating, and some tables under a cabana. Good for a small group party or celebration, but it also could be a problem on a windy day. Overall, not bad and will try other menus next time.

I'm writing this review in the hope for the improvement by the staffs. I was there yesterday 28/11/25. I've been a regular to this cafe/bar as I usually take my mates for lunch to the island, travelling on a small boat. Bar staffs are always excellent, Jack has been awesome. The cafe staffs are generally good but I've been denied service by a cafe's staff on the day. After walking around on the island on a very hot day and walking back to my boat, I approached the cafe to order 2 Latte. The lovely girl at the counter took the order and about to make my coffees but a probably more senior staff in the kitchen shouted out saying it is closed. The time was 3:30pm. You have to remember we are on the island with limited eating venues. There's another cafe on the ferry jetty side but for a private boater like me to leave the island with my own boat, this is my only and last resource for food food and beverages, unless I intended to walk back across the island just for food and beverages of course. There is a duty of care situation here as we are on an island. This island is a public place made accessible for all general public. Making two Latte at 3:30pm on a Friday shouldn't be an issue. By the way, I was the only private boater who accessed to the island on the day and was the only customer at cafe when I ordered my latte. I'm sure they will serve me a beer if I ordered but refused to make me two coffee. It simply has to be better than this. The difference between the excellence and the terrible dinning experience can be varied on the mainland but on a limited access island, such thing can be two Latte. Please do better for not just me but for everyone who stepped on this lovely world heritage listed island.

Service was excellent and food was unreal. Chicken sandwich and spicy pizza were stand outs. Thoroughly recommend a day trip over for the walking and sites with a breakfast or lunch visit....amazing.
