Great place for brunch. I got the traditional English fish cakes and they tasted really great. Highly recommend it if you’re after something with a bit of salad. Reasonable wait times and prices. Plenty of street parking and a good place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
I went to the shop at 12:35 pm to pick up my Too Good To Go order and also ordered a matcha latte. When I arrived, the female staff reacted dismissively and said it was “too early” and not possible at loud. I was then told that their usual pickup time is 2:30 pm and was asked to either come back later or cancel the order. I explained that I had already travelled 15 minutes to get there. Only after that did the staff member go to check with the kitchen, and eventually I was given a food container with 3 pastries after all dramas. If the pickup time was listed incorrectly, that is clearly the shop’s mistake, not the customer’s. I was disappointed not only by the confusion around the timing, but also by the rude and unprofessional attitude from staff while working in a service role. Because of this experience, I will never visit here again.
Great customer experience at this beautiful cafe by Petersham Park. I booked using a third party booking site for a large group. When we got there they hadn't received our booking. However they made it work and made room for us. The food was also very delicious. I didn't get a photo of everything cos we were too busy eating. My corn fritters was really nice. The cafe also provides colouring pictures to entertain the kids. And one of the rare places that don't have a surcharge for the weekend and card payments. I will definitely go back and recommend to others.
Very poor experience ordering a bacon and egg roll. They provided it after 2mins of ordering it. Very chewy, cold and no pleasant to eat I couldn't finish it. If it was fresh I probably would of gave them 5 stars.
Absolutely love pig and pastry! This cozy little cafe has such a warm and welcoming vibe. The highlight for me though is their chicken burrito bowl and almond croissant. It’s hands down one of the best ones I’ve ever had. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Highly recommend!
