We visited for breakfast over the weekend and it did not disappoint. The breakfast pie was excellent, with a perfectly runny egg, and the flavours of the beans, bacon, and sausage were all very tasty. We also ordered coffees, which were good, though a little slow to arrive. The banoffee pie was delicious as well. There was plenty of seating available both indoors and outdoors, and lots of parking, which made the visit easy and relaxed.

Amazing pie shop in the Blue Mountains which is a classic pit stop when out that way. More than 25 different pies/quiches/rolls for savoury flavours, and more than 10 for sweet options. Quality of everything is top notch and they are certainly worthy of the attention and awards they've received.

Hands down best veg curry pie I’ve eaten, the curry flavour was tomatoey and spot on. Lovely place and service, pies are full of flavours. The big breakfast was loaded with sausage, egg, bacon and hollandaise, which was a nice surprise. Lentil satay was creamy. Chilli con corn, so awesome with the mix of beans and relish and the crispy mash on top. Lots of vegan options too

On a wet cold summers day in the Blue Mountains, nothing beats a good hearty pie! Stopped off at Mountain High Pies for a fix. Heard a lot about this place and was not disappointed. Arrived around 11am on a Sunday and the place was busy with a queue. Plenty of room for dining in though. I ordered 3 pies (1 to eat later). Couldn’t resist the famous Big Breakfast pie - brimming with flavour: homemade baked beans, sausage, tasty bacon and beautiful soft yolk egg on top with hollandaise sauce! Delicious! Tried also the mince pie (my pie connoisseur mate says go with mince as there’s no hiding taste with artificial flavours). It was fantastic! Firm yet soft short pastry, beautiful puff pastry top and tasty mince with hint of pepper. My afternoon tea was the apple pie. Another winner - bursting with fruit. Not too sweet and crunchy pastry. I am content … A definite recommend.

This place gets BUSY, line out the door and packed! Always a good sign. Stopped in on the way home from a family trip to the blue mountains, only stopped to get my hands on the highly loved breakfast pie. Luckly enough got the last one before having to wait for a new batch, which is always a win in a busy bakery like this one! Everything about the pies just worked! The temp was excellent, flavour was on point and egg was cooked perfectly. The home made baked beans hit nicely, not usually pushed on tomato based anything to be fair but these where done brilliantly and throughly enjoyed. Hollandaise was delicious and worked really well with everything together. At a price point of around $10, expensive but worth the price tag in my opinion, I left completely full and satisfied. Standard delicious potato pie that the wife loved! Highly recommend this place as a stop off, got everything you'd want it a pie joint!!
