Trying out the new Menu. Don't have the Rump Steak. Worst steak I've ever eaten. Full of gristle & can't even be chewed. At least the $5 beers tasted good. Won't be back.

We had the best lunch at Lawson Park Hotel, so much so, that we came back for dinner! The gluten free margarita pizza was the best I have ever had - the gf base was delicious and they were very generous with the toppings. My husband is still raving about the caesar salad, and the lamb and steak dishes we ate at dinner. It is refreshing going into a pub where the meat is such high quality and is cooked to perfection! The atmosphere was great. The staff were lovely and our experience here really made our time in Mudgee one to remember!

The Lawson Park Hotel is an absolute favourite. Perfect spot for a game of pool, a cheeky punt and a relaxed catch up. The staff are next level amazing, friendly, welcoming and always up for a chat which makes the place feel so easy to be in. The chicken schnitzel is bloody delish and worth every bite. Great atmosphere, great people and always a good time.

I am giving this Hotel 5 stars for its Sunday Lamb Roast. The best I have ever eaten and the veggies with it were also amazing. If in Mudgee on a Sunday don't miss it. The meal is big enough to serve 2 or give you another meal of left overs which heat up just as good as the original feed.

We were a large group that were staying nearby. We visited for dinner on Saturday night and Thursday night. On Saturday it was insanely busy and only some of us could get a table for dinner, even though there are LOTS of tables. Thursday night was still busy but there was more room for us. Lots of staff cleaning up and service was reasonably fast given that we were there on busy nights. There is an extensive menu of standard pub food offerings plus a few extras. Serving size is generous. I had a steak one night and it was cooked how I asked for it.
