Three Tails Brewery

I am fond of supporting a local brewery.. however.. there is no orange flavour.. the sour is just that sour.. the lemon... its more like dust and a horrendous after taste. I am now writing this after having to shotgun them as I refuse to waste but the drain would be the better place for them... im sorry but they are no good. Keep trying

Never disappointed with a stop off here for some great brews and even better food! The brisket, pork and chicken is outstanding as are the wings, jalapeño with cheese poppers, calamari and the pork belly bites! The staff are also great! 10/10

Great vibes and excellent service. All the staff are super friendly and helpful, a lot of drink options to choose from the menu (we opted for the beer and gin tasting paddles) and they even have an arcade room and live music. Stayed here longer than anticipated because it was that good.

I just tried this place while working swing in Mudgee. My new colleagues raved about it. Who doesn't like a good BBQ joint. Amazing decor, the place looks like a million bux. I ordered the mixed plate brisket with pork and sides. I got a chicken taco too. I ordered a cab sav from the bar aswell. Wait time was approx 30 minutes for the food. I also waited a whole at the bar to be served. No biggie, but I get some of the reviews about service from here. Not many smiles, a little lack lustre, but the customer service is still there. Maybe the ladies didnt like the jumper I was wearing beard and long hair 😆 I'm joking people. I did wait a while so that the team could discuss stuff with the owners behind the bar. Tbh would have been a nice touch if they smiled and asked how my day was instead of just being in their own world. Honest thoughts. I was a little nervous about the portion sizes and there was more sides than protein. But tbh I couldnt finish the plate off. I was so full. Other places will perfect their meat and their sides are very basic and have no flavour. This places has really done a great job with their meat which is key, but their sides really wowed me. The first place to truly make me stop for a moment and think about the process and vision of this place. Its not just smoked meat, its the sides and the care and flavour put into them. Food was amazing. 5 out of 5! Service was 4 out of 5. A few smiles here and there would be great and have taken this place to one of the best smokehouses I've been to. Now I encourage everyone is mudgee or driving through to try this place. You shouldn't regret it. Alot of negative reviews which I can understand, but at the end of the day I think this business is doing all the right things and can only get better from here. Thanks!

What a great spot to have our first dinner in Mudgee. Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, great beer and delicious meat. The food menu is good, but not everything is available at the same time. If you keen for burgers, or slow and low meat, make sure you check when it's available. Would be nice if the burger menu is always available.
