Decided to eat here as right next door to where I am staying. The staff at the bar are very very friendly and helpful. You order at the bar for your meals. Ordered the beef and red wine pie which on the menu said came with roast potatoes and salad. The “salad” is just mixed greens. The pie itself looked amazing but was quite dry. The beef chunks looked like they were burnt . I wouldn’t come here again for food, but would have a drink here.
Wow, went here a couple of nights ago for a bite to eat. The Rogan Josh Pie and the Lamb Cutlets were outstanding. Cosy atmosphere and great service!
We spent Friday night here, wow love love love! Food was amazing been coming to Mudgee for 6 years only just discovered this gem.
Fantastic trip! We had another place cancel our accomodation upon arrival, and the lovely staff at the courthouse hotel helped us out of our bind. Turned out to be the best move we made on our short trip to Mudgee. Clean warm rooms, great food, friendly staff, lovely atmosphere. This will be our go to for future Mudgee trips! 10/10
Yes, it is rustic but the rest is great. There is history there too. And it's just out of the town centre! Beers were cold, the food was hot and very tasty! The lamb cutlets were big and crispy. The Steak sandwich was juicy steak and flavour burst with salad and divine relish! Definitely beat the other pubs hands down!
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
