Dogs are welcome in this park but must be kept on a leash at all times. Off-leash exercise is only permitted in the City of Sydney's 50 designated off-leash parks — this is not one of them. Dogs are prohibited from playgrounds, sports courts, and enclosed sports ovals. Please pick up after your dog — free waste bags are available at most parks. Lovely oasis in busy Sydney. Very quiet, calm and charming. Several cafes and a pub on the green. Best find is the Mustard Seed Community Centre with a charity shop.

This park needs serious maintenance, it has been barely touched by council, while it’s a point for community events the park looks very messy and not maintained. If you want to have a picnic or enjoying nature there are many better parks around , I suggest trying Victoria Park in Broadway or Marry Ann street Park which are in much better condition!
