Great park in centre of Chippendale, swings climbing, grass — sun and shade. Upgraded approximately 18months ago. Water fountain , bubbler and dog water bowl AI generated:- Love this sweet little spot – Peace Park Playground in Chippendale! Recently upgraded with fresh play equipment including a fun curly slide, toddler-friendly structures, swings, and soft-fall surfacing – perfect for younger kids. The fenced play area keeps everything safe, plus there are lovely mosaic murals (like the ‘Birds of Peace and Industry’ by artist Marie Stucci from the 1995 refurb), seating, green spaces, and even veggie patches. It’s a peaceful, community-feel oasis in the inner city with good shade and accessibility. Great quick stop for families!
Peaceful park in the middle oh Chippendale, dog friendly and with new equipment for kids to play. An unexpected quiet spot in the suburb!
Play equipment is very old however I believe that it is going to be updated soon: my family will look forward to this because the community has lots of young children. There are two seats and a bubbler. There’s also a bin outside but no toilets for parents. Nearby cafes so parents can grab a coffee before coming to the park.
Tired play equipment. Ruined rubber flooring - watch your step as you may trip! This park is in need of a refresh promised to be completed a year ago but the council has said now it will go ahead with the approved plans in the summer of 2021-2022. Also, beware this park sits on-top of a water embarkment below so it is also very damp and lots of mosquitoes around! Redeeming feature is the yellow slide my toddler loves it.
A nice quiet park in Chippendale area with a simple kid's playground and some benches. Good for an afternoon chill stroll and swing visit. The tiled art floor was a good art installation.
