The restaurant has a pretty good vibe—if only the food and cleanliness were just as good. The photos don’t show how silly the dishes actually looked in real life. I paid $14 for a quesadilla that was basically just chips with some tortillas (you could even say without cheese). It ended with a parmy that was clearly defrosted and poorly cooked. The men’s room was basically flooded because one toilet was leaking, so you had to step in sewer water just to use it. I highly recommend not going here until the owners actually take care of it. They really need to. PS ketchup and bbq sauce taste the same just with a different colour

Please note: The FOOD HERE AT THIS PUB IS 100% VEGAN, NO MEAT or SEAFOOD. We didn't pick up on this until after ordering noticing vegan on top in smaller text. The most bland, flavourless food and for 3 main meals so overpriced, secondly appalling service one worker serving both drinks and taking food orders at the bar, going back and forth between both sides clearly stressed with the number of people in the pub. I know its public holiday rates but seriously that service is unacceptable. Not his fault but the business hence I wouldnt be returning. Waiting in line for 20 mins! Behind 3 people and another 3-4 on the right side. I wished I walked out, overall horrible experience. The moment I waited an hour to be served and for the food to come out what a regretful choice. I will mention the kitchen staff were friendly and hard working.

Staff are always lovely, and today was no different. The food however was not acceptable in my opinion. The pesto looked microwaved, not fresh at all. The sun-dried tomatoes on top of the pasta should be more correctly referred to as sun burnt! They were insanely chewy and hard, with no taste. They also covered the entire dish so were impossible to avoid. The loaded cheezeburger chips tasted like petrol- the cheeze sauce was sickening. enough said. The tacos were great though, as per usual!!! I really appreciate this place for its atmosphere and catering towards plant based individuals, but I do think, for the prices, the standard of the food needs to be improved. EDIT: Hey just editing my review to say that a business lying on the internet is not a good look, nothing that you replied to me happened!! No one talked to me about my meal, no one offered me a refund, nor did I receive one. Regarding the refund you must be confusing me with someone else who has complained about the quality of the food :) I agree that leaving a less than positive review for a business is 'unfair' when they have tried their best to remedy it– unfortunately you have not. Check yourself.

100% plant based menu! I'm not a vegan but I was very impressed by the quality and plant based meats. I had a zinga burger, opted for slaw instead of just lettuce and got chipotle mayo instead of plain aioli. Was very filling and yummy. The jalapeno poppers were my favorite! They had such a good taste and better than most places I get poppers at. They weren't hole jalapenos stuffed but they were delicious and tasty. The blooming onion was also very delicious and cooked perfectly. I had a hard peach iced tea which I loved and haven't wver had the chance of trying before because most places dont have alcoholic iced teas, especially in a peach flavour. Went during the day so it wasn't busy, the atmostphere and interior was very welcoming and cozy.

Colour me pleasantly surprised - Vegan Pub so close to Sydney CBD. Interesting and flavourful all vegan dishes. Lovely service and good ambiance. Even the music selection was great and soft enough to still allow for table conversations. Will definitely be going back again :)
