Strickland Park is a park in Chippendale. We don't yet have enough signals to confirm whether dogs are allowed.
Dogs are welcome in this park but must be kept on a leash at all times. Off-leash exercise is only permitted in the City of Sydney's 50 designated off-leash parks — this is not one of them. Dogs are prohibited from playgrounds, sports courts, and enclosed sports ovals. Please pick up after your dog — free waste bags are available at most parks. Nice and peaceful... (during school hours) a bit too shaded by trees and mostly by buildings. But cute little pocket park.
Recently updated park. Very small space but I think they could have done more with the space they had. Small play equipment with slide and one large swing. Only shade is that which is provided by the trees. Don’t sit or lay on the ground as the trees seeds/debris cause itching and are hard to remove from clothes (the ground is covered in it).
Lovely little park suitable for new walkers. I've been popping by here almost every other day with my daughter who has built up her confidence on the small slide. People sit around here after they pick up food from the local bakery or taco window. Cute inner city park.
Strickland Park is a small concrete space with a playground and a few benches sandwiched between row houses and buildings. A natural space definitely needed to break away and interrupt the concrete built environment. A few times I've passed through this park and there doesn't seem to be any families or children playing nearby.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
