Ocean Beach Hotel umina, conveniently located along the main street of your minor only walking distance from the beach, shops, cafes and many other great hidden gems, Staff is super friendly and helpful , management was super thorough and clear with the accommodation. The drink vouchers were a nice touch. Rooms were good priced beds and pillows were comfortable Bathroom floors had a lot of chemical buildup. Large venue offering a range of tap beers, wine and spirits. Along with a bistro boasting pub favourites and daily specials. Keno, TAB and gaming services. BWS connected to building. Large car park at rear of the building along with offstreet parking , Would recommend to stay or visit to the ocean Beach hotel

I had dinner here and ordered a Scotch fillet steak. It was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. Easily the best steak I've had in a very long time. The staff were lovely and when I spoke with the chef he was very humble!

We rang up very late during the day as our family Christmas dinner got cancelled. Nicole answered the phone and straight away got us a spot on a very last minute booking on Christmas Day. The buffet was incredible and there was soo many options. Barb who works in the kitchen and made the effort to talk to us and she was such a kind soul and made the dinner even more special. Will be back due to incredible service and generosity of staff. Highly recommend

Food absolutely sensational. I had the ribs with coleslaw and wedges and shared an entree for calamari. Person I came with had the $80 seafood platter and to say it looked amazing but my friend said it was one of the best platters he has had. He said the amount of seafood he got for $80 was unbelievable. All fresh as well. Thank you for the lovely service and food.

My recent visit to the Ocean Beach Hotel was absolutely wonderful — not just because of the stunning views and relaxed atmosphere, but because of the incredible service. A special mention goes to Skye, who truly went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. From the moment we arrived, Skye greeted us with such genuine warmth and professionalism. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome — nothing was too much trouble. It’s rare to come across someone who clearly loves what they do and takes such pride in making guests feel valued. The food and drinks were excellent, the setting was beautiful, and the service — thanks to Skye — was the highlight of our visit. We’ll definitely be coming back, and recommending Ocean Beach Hotel to all our friends and family!
