Dearin Reserve is a relaxed off-leash spot in Newport where dogs can run off-leash 24 hours a day. There is access to the water via a rocky beach for a paddle, and it tends to stay quiet, with shade and seating on hand. It is an easy, low-key place for an off-leash walk with a bit of water access. A pleasant local reserve for dogs any time.
Listed on the Northern Beaches Council off-leash dog areas page. Dogs must be under effective control at all times. Check council signage for hours, boundaries, and any time restrictions.
What a wonderful little park. Not far from shopping. Not far from coffee shops. There is a Motel on the next courner. Doesn't have public toilets. Plenty of street parking. Watch the video. You can hear the birds🐦
Lovley spot for the dog. Not too busy when we were there. Access to water via a rocky beach. Had some oysters
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
