“Weemala” which reportedly means good view or lookout! Does lead up to a nice vantage point above the beaches! This is a nice little walk, through some interesting bush setting! The path is fairly well maintained! There is a small carpark, which probably gets full during the school holidays, especially the summertime holidays! “Technically” Dogs are not permitted on this beach, however, as per usual it appears that some people don’t seem to understand how to read! Once on the beach there are miles of beach in both directions to walk! It is good swimming and surfing here, BUT, it is not a patrolled beach!
Large & beautiful beach with great strong waves however no toilet/ shower facilities etc. Water is pretty sandy, not the greatest swim but still a beautiful beach to visit.
Beautiful short board walk path through the wetlands/bush to Budgewoi Beach, not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers as there are steps as well
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
